MARC has published a sector report on the domestic banking industry, examining key banking metrics and the challenges to the industry.

MARC maintains a stable outlook on the Malaysian banking sector. Despite the impact from the COVID-19 pandemic, the domestic banking industry has been shielded from severe financial distress and is expected to benefit from the gradual reopening of the economy.
