Sustainability-Related Assessments

Through MARC Solutions, MARC provides independent external review services for bonds or sukuk issued under the following standards/principles: Securities Commission Malaysia's Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) Sukuk Framework; ASEAN Green Bond Standards; ASEAN Sustainability Bond Standards; ASEAN Social Bond Standards; the International Capital Market Association's (ICMA) Green Bond Principles or Social Bond Principles or Sustainability Bond Guidelines; as well as UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) thematic corporate/project finance bonds/sukuk; conventional and Shariah-compliant SRI thematic bond/sukuk funds. Undertaken in accordance with criteria on MARC's website, these assessments help inform sustainably minded investors or lenders in their assessment of the environmental and/or social benefits of their investments or financings.
