MARC Ratings has published its final Data Center rating methodology upon completing the market consultation on the exposure draft that was published recently. The rating agency took cognisance of market feedback and has incorporated relevant comments to strengthen the robustness of the methodology. Among these are those related to the tiering structures and cooling configurations employed at the data centers. The final methodology has also expanded on the operating and financial risks faced by tenants in the event the underlying data centers are sold.
