Taufiq is the Deputy Chief Rating Officer at MARC Ratings, and also a member of the Rating Committee. He has been with MARC for 15 years. He is responsible for ratings in the property, automotive and services sectors. He also oversees a rating portfolio of debt issuances by Malaysian conglomerates.

Taufiq holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from University of the West of England.
