Izazee is the Rating Portfolio Head for Financial Institutions. Izazee has more than 23 years of experience in the risk analysis of financial institutions, Islamic finance, ratings, debt securities and corporate banking. Prior to joining MARC, he was the General Manager of the Insurance, Risk Assessment and Monitoring division of Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia where he was responsible for the analysis and monitoring of member institutions’ risk levels as well as the premium and levy collection function. He has also held managerial roles at RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad (now known as RHB Investment Bank Berhad) and Rating Agency Malaysia Berhad. Izazee holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
