Sofina joined MARC in April 2013 as the Head of Compliance, Governance and Risk Management. Prior to joining MARC, she spent most of her working career in the financial services industry in various roles, including organisation and methods, company secretarial, internal audit, executive director’s office and compliance.

Shuaibah Awaldeen

Head, Finance, Administration & IT

Shuaibah joined MARC as the Head of Finance, Administration & IT in July 2013. Shuaibah commenced her career by serving as an auditor and was the head of finance and accounts in various companies. Prior to joining MARC, she was the Deputy Senior Manager of Finance in Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd.

Yap Ngee Heong, Jack

Head, Business Origination

Jack is MARC's Head of Business Origination. He has held a variety of corporate and commercial banking roles in Islamic financing. Prior to joining MARC, he was a unit head of the Islamic corporate banking department in RHB Islamic Bank Berhad.

Khaireny Mohamed Khalid

Head, Human Capital

Khaireny joined MARC in May 2020 as the Head of Human Capital. Prior to joining MARC, she spent most of her working career in Maybank in two major roles; Talent Management Manager, Group Human Capital and Business Development Manager, Maybank Credit Card Centre. She has vast HR consulting experience in operationalising talent management initiatives aimed at building organisational capabilities in business strategy execution.

Lalitha Sivanesan

Head, Strategic Communications and Training

Lalitha Sivanesan is the head of strategic communications at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad where she is responsible for the comprehensive planning and coordination of MARC’s overall communications, ensuring that a coherent and consistent message runs through all of MARC’s publications, website and social media.

She also oversees MARC Learning, the training and solutions arm of MARC, which provides trainings and webinars related to the capital markets.

Lalitha has 20 years of editorial experience encompassing physical and online collateral, having worked with various publishing houses from educational to banking and finance.

Lalitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry degree from Universiti Malaysia Sabah and an MBA from Sunway University.
